Package Redesign
An information design project to redesign a parmacutical product packaging.
The original packaging for vicks vapor rub included many faults that needed adressing including: a lack of good heirarchy, consistent text sizes for paragraphs and titles, space to breathe due to overwhelming amounts of text, lacking visual cues and structure.
The redesigned packaging fixes these issues. It uses icons for cues and to help clarify instructions. Use of colour and shapes to direct the flow of reading and limit confusion. The tabbed instructions inside the liftup tab was an innovation brought more surface area to spread the word amount more appropriately.
